Output frequency is approximately 990kHz to 1.01 MHz. At this frequency you can view capacitor voltage seems to be discretely plotted. I never knew this app used discrete approximations until I look closely.

This is only possible with the CMOS versus if the 555. (7555). Like the 555, the 7555 generally calls for timing resistors above 1k to operate reliably. It's also somewhat more efficient to use small caps and large resistances in RC oscillators
