This setup is a model scale motor and caboose LED setup with a 15 volt power supply.  The locomotive section has directional lighting. The caboose has a capacitor to keep the lights from turning off quick.  The final part is the power supply with 2 spst switches and the pots would be the dc supply to the tracks
