Tune in a tornado within 20 miles of your location? Newton Weller shared a story to turn analog signal TV to channel 2 (55 MHz range) and notice lightening as different width horizontal bands perhaps wider and staying longer as storm moves closer to you. Suddenly, the dark screen lights up and turns white - completely white (white screen thing) the sign that a tornado is near and to run for cover. Now called the"Weller Method". First, turn to Channel 13 and darken screen just above threshold of blackness. Second, turn to channel 2, if screen is already white or suddenly turns white expect tornado within 20 miles of you. Simulated with diodes is Earth below at negative charge and top is tornado cloud with positive charge to act like huge diode vacuum tube. The 55 MHz pulse generator is around 18,000 feet above the ground.
