After rectifying the voltage from the AC waveform only rectified DC should hit the logic chips, it does not  ....

Hi. I could be wrong, but I think there is no bug. Try adding a pull-down resistor on the input of the ADC (red trace). In your setup, there is no current flowing through the diode because the input resistance of the ADC is so high. Thus, the diode can't rectify the AC voltage. Let me know what you think...
