I think you have a pretty good start. You have a common collector current amplifier setup, and the bias resistors are good. I would suggest replacing the potentiometer with a 200ohm resistor, increasing the output capacitor to around 10uF, and adding a load resistor of around 50ohms. These things might make it even better!
