With the leftmost push button one can latch the load (LED) on and off. The other two push buttons are just to quickly (un)charge the capacitor in the simulation. The capacitor must be uncharged in order to switch on, resp. charged in order to switch off. This takes a while when the simulation speed is very low. You need a very low simulation speed, otherwise the MOSFET does not switch off reliably.
