Uses the method from my design
DC Motor Revolution Detector
http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6753368923176960
to read the motor revolutions / s. The dirivative of this result is used as feedback to control the acceleration of the motor. The acceleration is set discretely based on the following three conditions (modes):
- Revolutions / s < reference: Acceleration = 2
- Revolutions / s ≈ reference: Acceleration = 0
- Revolutions / s > reference: Acceleration = - 2
* The span where rev. / s ≈ ref. is satisfied can be changed by changing the gain in the left most opamp coupling.
* The two non-zero rates of acceleration can be changed individually with the two upper left voltage generators (2 V = 2000 rpm / s).
* The controller used in the acceleration loop is a simple integrator.
* Use the voltage generator next to the motor to set the rpm (1 V = 1000 rpm).
The motor rev. detector circuit is scaled for a specifik motor voltage and start current, but besides these, the parameters can be changed at will. This is explained better in the design mentioned above.
