Square wave pulse is not exactly AC.

If a sine wave is clamped positively there remains no negative portion. Would you call it dc then?? Anyways, the idea was to generate ripple free dc.Not to mention, the square wave was generated from sinusoid.

You mean like an offset ac? Like if you have 20 peak to peak volts ac, and you offset it to 20 volts so the bottom is at zero volts and the top is at 40 volts? You can do that with the ac power supply here, it's called dc offset, and yes it still be called ac because it is still alternating.

Also, this is really just using the ac as your trigger for the and gates, then your using the power from the and gates (which comes from a separate dc power supply)to run through your full wave bridge rectifier, which isn't helpful because it is already dc. So you incur a voltage drop across both diodes... take the and gates out and hook the ac power supply up to the full wave.
