Confused,,, But if power of lamp is small so voltage output raise up to 50 volt.

FYI, I put another transistor and wired it the same way . I'm getting 450 plus. Had to up the voltage on the lamp; it kept burning up!

I had to raise the lamp to 900volts

Hahaha ... but even though the voltage is small if the big power light is not going to rise in voltage ...

It's a blocking oscillator. "Bug zappers" and photo flash circuits work this way except the two coils you have are normally just the center tapped primary of a transformer with 10-100x the number of turns on a secondary output coil.
