Very nice. If you want some cheap amplitude regulation, try a "grain of wheat" light bulb in the feedback circuit. I tried a 6V 20 mW incandescent bulb in series with the feedback capacitor. Back in my youth, these were vacuum tube circuits, and used much larger bulbs. The amplitude would pulse for a second when stepping through the frequency ranges.

The grain-of-wheat bulb has a much lower thermal mass, and should settle rapidly. The nice thing about them is the high gain when they are first started, since the filament is cold.
