It's not a MUX ... You've 6 inputs (on the left) and 1 output ... A 4 bits MUX has 4 inputs and 2 outputs. The 2 output bits are the result of the input pattern : in => out / 1000 => 00 / 0100 => 01/ 0010 => 10 / 0001 => 11. Only one input can be high in a single time.

I have renamed this to 4-to-1 Channel Multiplexer to avoid any confusion. There are sources that can be found on the Internet that will back this up, but if someone feels that this is still wrong, feel free to let us know. :-)

4 channels in 1 channel out selection by 2 bit binary. I dont see anything wrong with the headline.

Uh .. Sorry ! You're right ! Mux has effectively control bits ! I'm confounding with another logic circuit ... So forgot what i said in 1st comment !
