Lol this reminds me of hysteresis or atleast its visual representation. What is this supposed to be a VU power level indicator? If so youd better use transistors to amplify the input and not stress it too much

Radio shack used to sell a deca-comparator that was grate for thus job. 2 quad comparators would do a good job also
