3x1W LED in bicycle frontlight

I use this circuit since a long time, I placed it without pcb quick and dirty right into my front light's housing. Supply: 6V/3W dynamo.
The voltage doubler causes the LED's to light up very fast. I can walk beside my bicycle and the light is quite bright. 
It is important to use diodes with very low treshold voltage (my diodes have a Vth of 220mV)
