Flyback Transformer Sawtooth Output

Since the flyback transform is designed to output high voltage, and high frequency sawtooth waves, I've attempted to recreate how it operates Before we all ripped it out of our TVs.

What is the purpose for the 800uH inductor in parallel with the transformer primary coil?

Idk I have a habit of putting one in across it to deal with the capacitance of the MOSFET, but I don't need it for this one because It doesn't have that high of a switching frequency

Usually i find darlington transistors instead of mosfets
