The simulation program is running very slowly. That's why I preferred transistors instead of logic gates. With the end of the sawtooth signal, the 8-bit conversion will appear on the display. It takes a little longer than the slowness of the simulation program. The potentiometer under the displays gives an analog input between 0-5V.
