Using a hacked clock (idea not original to me), I can speed up the simulation time, giving a better example of how a ramp type analog to digital converter/digital volt meter would work. If you'd like to check out my previous circuit, there is a tutorial there that will explain how this circuit functions (or possibly makes it more confusing 😅). https://everycircuit.com/circuit/4592385207304192 I took out certain pieces of a full voltmeter circuit (like differential input, sample and hold, etc) because my goal here is lightness and speed. There are a couple of test voltages that you can measure. Use the switch to select either a sine signal or a manual fixed voltage. Specifications: Clock: 20khz Sample rate: 5ms or 200 samples per second. Accuracy: 100mV Error: ~200mV Range 0V to 9.9V OUTPUT NUMBER = Vin × F / Slope If 5V is input, then 5V × 20khz / 2000 (V/s) = 50 Next Circuit: https://everycircuit.com/circuit/5094936040701952

Nice - will have to look into the ‘hacked clock’ thing!

Thanks! I'm sure there are others, but here's the one I have bookmarked as my reference: https://everycircuit.com/circuit/5694986422321152

I like the use of the square waves as a neural network of sorts
