Generation of FM done using 555 IC. Carrier is a square wave and its width varies(thereby frequency) as per the amplitude of the message signal.

The circuit has designed values.

Wouldn't you lose information during the time the square wave is not fluctuating? I'm just trying to wrap my head around how there is not info loss with this? Cool circuit btw!
