Which component represents the battery. While 13.2V is indicative of a charged battery, it is educational to read the manufacturer's information on charging batteries. Basically the battery is charged to a voltage as specified by the manufacturer, this is determined by the materials and process in production. Once the battery reaches the designed charge voltage, the voltage is backed off until the remaining current is limited to a rate of 1mA per batteries amp hour rating. This is why there is multi stage battery chargers (upto seven stages), a good one achieves this and more automatically.
