The 0 to 1 ohm range using a calibrated millliamp meter at 50 ohm full scale is not worked out for simulator.
When urge to measure cold resistance of incandescent bulbs, find Hi-Fi ground loops, check high amperage contact conditions or corrosion at connections , or .27 ohm or .50 ohm is important in your life - this can help.
I added the single throw switch lower left to make simulation easier to stay turned on.
General idea of operation:
clip alligator test clips together, turn top variable resistor for maximum resistance.
Now, second single throw switch from bottom row of switches is test leads so turn this on. Other switches off.
Press push bottom, adjust bottom variable resistor to set zero meter reading.
Release push button, open test lead switch, select above .1 or 1 ohm range to calibrate meter and close switch connected to chosen resistor.
Press on pushbutton, set full scale pointer deflection with top variable resistor.
Release push button, open calibration switch from .1 or 1 ohm.
We are calibrated so do not move variable resistors.
Close second from bottom in row for test leads switch, connect alligator clip leads to test circuit, push on button to get reading.
Outlined in simulator. Published in Popular Electronics, October of 1970, with build details on page 77.
