If you close the spst switch and tap the no switch, it shorts the battery. If the spst switch is closed then opened, the no switch doesn't do anything on my phone. Just FYI stuff

The NO sw is for getting it started. Close for a few clock cycles, then open to run. The push button is to reset same in the case of a stuck condition. The resistor provides a voltage drop to allow the logic to drive or pull the node. Sorry I didn't talk about all this to start with. But, have fun with it!
