How to build a ZVP2106A mosfet according to a datasheet I have a spice model for this mosfet, but not all values seems to apply. Notable values are KP=0.277 Lambda=12milli VTO=-3.193 1. Add p-channel mosfet 2. Adjust Width fully clockwise 3. Adjust KP fully clockwise 4. Locate the output characteristics graph in the datasheet. Apply VGS and VDS according to dataset. Note, the source has the arrow. Pick VGS=-20v VDS=-10v This picks a curve which has not saturated. 5. Set VTO, KP and Lambda with values from datasheet. VTO=-3.19 Lambda=-12m1/V KP=-277uA/V2 6. Adjust width until circuit has IDS=-3.1A which matches the graph . For me this was Width=16.9um 7. Now adjust VGS=-10 and VDS=-10. It should adjust IDS to -1.1A but it falls more than that. 8. Hmm I can't adjust to meet different values to match graph.
