Upgrade based on one of my previous circuits using the now available center tapped transformer, the original circuit was based on a circuit found at http://www.i4at.org/lib2/inverter.htm ,this along with some supplied helpful advice.
The inverters real life output is specified as being capable of supporting a 120VAC @ 300W non inductive load dependant on the transistors and transformer being used. While EC can provide a limited simulation of transformers, it has problems, this shows up in loads that are used in inducing oscillations, in that they do not really know how to allow for different core permabilities, i.e. the difference between air cored, different types of Ferro material or even air gaped cores. I found that the extra 4.7uF capacitor helped me to simulate my desired configuration and helped in stopping the frequency running away, but is probably not required irl.
