The potentiometers aren't doing anything, hook the other side of the potentiometers to ground (negative) and you should be good to go.

No need to use the potentiometer. Connect the base of every transistor to its collector and increase the value of current limiting resisters above the leds...

Well the current limiting resistors are set to a fixed value, because of the way i am building this in hardware. But thanks for the suggestion.
