Parallel Boost Converter

Using multiple boost converters in parallel allows for a smaller voltage ripple. As you can see its only 70mV once settled. With the output voltage maintained at 18.5V driving a 10 ohm load. A transistor inverter is used to make the 180 degree phase shift of the sqaure wave, to calculate the phase of the driving signal for more boost converters its just 360/n, where n is the number of converters is parallel. A 3 phase boost converter would have all drivers out of phase by 120 degrees, speaking of which does anyone know of simple ways to shift phases by an arbitrary amount?

Cool! I would use RC elements (+ amplifiers) to get the phase shift you need for a generic multiphase.

This is basically exactly how VRM's on a PC work, phase separation, so that one VRM takes the load while the other charges

Using Counter And Some Logic Gates You Can Form Any collection of signals. Please See https://everycircuit.com/circuit/6269727760187392

Thank you all for the suggestions, i'll muck around with some RC filters and high gain amps. I dont have many digital IC's so I dont have much experience with all that but I might give it a go.

Thanks for sharing this design. It inspired me to come up with this circuit design. It's similar but operates very differently, somewhere between a stungun and a plasma discharge. https://everycircuit.com/circuit/4924687062794240
