LED and Current limiting Resistor

We can see the use of current limiting resistor if we decrease the value of the resistor led gets burned

Reduce resistor to give 20mA, the correct 'normal' current for the LED.

Funny that LEDs burn, but resistors don't ... I just had one dissipate 10 Gigawatts, and it wouldn't even get warm

Set the volt suply to 2v and you dont use resistor

In a real design, you still would. LEDs should be driven with constant current, not with constant voltage.
