Top is boost converter which is supposed to step up voltage and step down current while bottom is is buck converter which is supposed to step down voltage and step up current.

A nice good demo. A few lines to explain a little details of circuit operation would make it jump from good to excellant.

Need a lot of rework in componente values and also needs an NMOS fet for the booster and not an pmos. Its possible but because of high Vt voltage drop very inefficient.

Ya I figured there was a problem with it I just couldn’t figure out what elements I needed to swap out or what values I needed to change if any

The buck converter seems to work fine but the problem is that it has no values and I can’t get the lamp to pulse for the boost converter and a higher voltage

Here i made a start for you. Only the frequency is unrealistic low with 1kHz. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6516096235732992
