If your signal voltage is less than forward biasing voltage of a diode normal rectifier circuit won't work. Hence this precision rectifier is used for such purposes

With such high resistors the waveform does look not so perfect. With higher frequencies the waveshape gets even worse. Cuz the parasitic caps from the diodes do make trouble. So lower the resistance to e.g. 1.5kOhm for all R's and i agree its a precision rectifier at 1kHz, but not much higher.

U can get square waves if u were to put a 1 G ohlm resister for gain loads on both amplifiers

Lower resistors help with speed also using opamps with higher slew rate.
