If switches are connected in parallel, the circuit will operate if either is operated.
Note that both switches must be open for circuit to stop operating.

Put a resistor of a few milliohms in series with at least one of the switches to represent switch contact resistance. EC switches are ‘ideal’ components with no contact resistance and this causes an error condition when they are both closed when in parallel.
