”Cannot find solution”
What does that mean? Did I do something wrong (I'm a beginner, by the way), or is this too complex to simulate? I run the trial version. Will the paid version be able to simulate this?

I modified it a bit, start the simulation with the switch open, then close it. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6468190676975616

Your circuit works, when you substitute the Pulse with a Sine wave. HTH
