Blinking LED circuit. The 100ohm resistors are choose for standard LED (2,5V/25mA) and for 5V power supply. In you want change a voltage supply and/or type of LED you mast re-calculating a resistors impedance. This scheme has been designed and tested: works without problems for years.... The PNP are BC548.

Standard relaxation oscillator, working well, I'm not sure where the standard led values quoted come from, according to ElectroDroid, the official values are; standard red 1.7v @ 10mA, bright red 2.0v @ 10mA, super bright red 1.75v @ 20mA.
