Sugestion; tidy the circuit up a bit, use meaningful turns ratio on the transformer, & use a larger smoothing capacitor; http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6167695213723648

@firdaus34, 230VAC are not 230V peak ! That one of the issues why you cant easily rectify 230VAC to 230VDC, you will get 325V DC or 170VDC from 120VAC. If you have it from a battery directly, its ok. But it needs some more effort as you think from AC mains
