Where is the power for the red led coming from? There is no connection between the battery and the NOT Logic Gate. Is there an implied connection behind the scenes in EasyCircuit

Digital IC's have always their own + and - pins but these pins are usually not drawn in circuits.

A not gate is a transistor connected to a voltage source, in a way that let's current flow only if there is no signal
