You may use this scheme to change power in laboratory power supply. I have 1 bipolar semiconductor of 100hpe (2N5551 TO-92) and 1 bipolar semiconductor of 40hpe (e13009-2 TO-220) and standard resistor 10k with 0.2W power.

yes, you have "hpe" and about 40Watt power dissipation going into heat. Tell us a little about your heatsink mounted TO220. BTW 13009 is not made for low voltage linear jobs, anyway it will work with a big heatsink and very good thermal contact to it, be careful

what you mean is the DC gain h parameter Fe, hFe or here in everycircuit properties for bipolar transistors called 'Beta'. BTW, there is no 10kOhm resistor and 200mW is also uncommon huh thats getting more and more ???questionmarks??? we better forget that. ??????
