In sim, yes, but in a real circuit they are permanently on as far as the human eye/brain is concerned.

Yes....one of the problems with altering the sim is that we can lose a realistic view. Personally I prefer to alter a circuit until the sim shows and agrees realism rather than trying to please a sim....after all, isn't a sim meant to help us rather than the other way round? There is a subtle difference there between that and using an oscilloscope to give us a view at a deeper level... and if the sim cannot agree, then that is the time to ask ourselves if we have made a circuit error or if it is a sim inadiquacy .....just my viewpoint.

Agreed. I saw it was the 1st post from @Amirali314 and made the point just in case they believed a real circuit would behave this way. Also didn't want them to build a real circuit and be disappointed and confused with the result.
