I might need some help with this but the schematic works! It is a really simple one where the transistor or mosfet switching is already set with the square wave source, but I am trying to use a 555 timer in real life to switch that with a variable pulse width modulated (PWM) square wave. This switching will basically get the inductor to put its energy into the capacitor where it is trapped by the diode, this will boost the voltage based on the frequency and all.
