This simulation demonstrates the principle of superposition in circuit analysis. As we can see, the first circuit is the original while the other two circuits are the variations only including one power source at a time. The sum of voltages and currents of the two iterations of the circuit should equal respective currents/voltages in the original circuit. Feel free to adjust resistor and power source values for practice problems.
