Simple burglar alarm

Something I'm getting ready to build with scrap parts. When my motion sensor (shown in this circuit as a push button) detects movement it will sound the alarm (shown as a lamp). In this simple setup, you push the button to turn on the lamp. When you release the button the relay keeps the lamp powered on until you turn off the main power switch next to the power source. This circuit has a flaw though...the lamp doesn't light up until the button is released. I want the lamp to light up right away and stay on until a main switch is turned off. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just connect the button to the other side of the NC side of the relay. Hope it helps :)

Thanks all for the advice. I have built a working model of this circuit on another page. I am only keeping this one saved as a personal reference on what NOT to do.
