That's a positive sine, not a full sine

You need to scope "after" the capacitor to see the full sine

It's a very good way to create a sine wave. It works by phase angle lag. However, it is an oscillator, which I wouldn't class as a DC to sine conversion. Even so, it's nice✓

Just to qualify the above, would you call a VHF transmitter as a DC to VHF circuit? It's not against the law, but .... Nor is this a just and lasting peace ☮️ as described by Henry Kissinger during the 1960s
