Working on walkie talkie

Hey Guys, been a while since I posted something. I've been watching one of the latest attempts of GreatScott on how to minimalisticly make a walkie talkie. He used a 433MHz board, however the bandwidth was extremely limited. He could only transmit 5kHz digital, meaning he had to make a 5kHz PWM for a voice signal. You can probably imagine how well that went - the receiver end was squeeky from the unfiltered 5kHz PWM. This got me thinking and I looked through some chinese boards - all of them with extremely limited bitrate. So I'm currently working on a way to suppress the 5kHz carrier for the PWM and to compress the audio as much as possible to fit in this limited PWM. This is what I got and I'm open to ideas.

Cool circuit. Cool

High frequency would limit his range. How much battery power transmissions would use. Boafeng specifications say 1.4 amps during transmissions.
