This s a LED Trigger system designed to go inside each drum on a drum set. Each string of LEDs go inside each drum. The switches are piezo triggers. The LEDs are 50/50 RGB LED TAPE. THE POWER SUPPLY is 12Volt 1amp. Designed by Brandt Sundholm, 2015.

Without current limiting resistors, you're leaving a lot to chance with the differences in real world LEDs. You could easily burn them out.

50/50 LED Tape have the resistors built in. The only resistors needed are to calculate color.
