Hit one of the three switches, it turns on or off, depends if It was off or on previously. You can turn off or on from any switch. It is used from an X-OR parity circuit.

Nice work .... would really appreciate more explanation on this circuit .. why used those specific components ..and what practical use for it

Let say you have a room light, you got three door ways, you can control it from the three entry ways, on matter if the switch is on or off. Everytime you hit the switch, it's different that what it was, previously.

Ha! I looked at the examples a few weeks ago. They have a 2 way switch, and pose the question to design a 3 way switch. I didn't take it so far as to actually make it, but this is pretty much exactly what popped into mind.

Actually, to be more specific, I thought of doing this at 3v (using either two AA batteries), and using it to switch a relay with 120VAC on the other side. The logic is similar though.

You need a cross switch to use for the mechanical version, but the app doesn't come with one. Lol.
