RCA was bought out in 1986 by GE. and sold off so following RCA part numbers are not off the shelf. This is to give basic idea of separate instruments played on stage triggering 500 watts of colored light with each instrument a different color of light and the mixing of light controlled by the song. This color organ at upper left has audio speaker input shown as 800 Hz frequency A.C. input with 200 ohm 3 watt wire wound sensitivity control before 50 volt PIV silicon diodes to flash #49 pilot lamp to make light connection with LDR or Photo resistor (RCA 2529) shown as 100 ohm resistor and taped to pilot lamp to keep outside light out. The 250 k ohm control is called "background" and the two reversed diodes was RCA 40431 Triac. 5 Watt fuse above right line voltage input is not shown. Each instrument would have both circuits above to generate own color lamps. Note at low volume you may need to amplify left audio input to operate 49 pilot lamp well. Bottom circuit is optional to control above right circuit as 500 Watt power controller. Of course, your parts you choose will affect working outputs.
