Another popular scam curcuit on YT is just a big impressive looking inductor is series with a woofer speaker (represented by 1mh + 8 ohm here). This is just a -6db/oct filter and it doesn't increase the bass (irl it even decreases it a bit due to DC resistance, but that can be negligable depending on the wire gauge), it just cuts off the mids.
The only way to get more bass from this arrangement is by converting it into an overshooting filter by adding a cap in a specific value range (close switch), but this doesn't really increase the speaker's low freq efficiency, it just sucks more power out of your amp which can lead to serious damage...
Their goal is to generate ad revenue, most of these videos have at least five ads, they don't care if you waste money and time or even damage your equipment with this nonsense.
Another thing is, a woofer or full range speaker resonates in the bass region below or around 100hz. The impedance is very peaky there so the behavior of the filter is very crappy and uncertain unless you do an elaborate calculation, so even the overshooting might not work.
