Normally, I can't get any logic type to go much faster than 1MHz in EC unless I make it draw huge amounts of power, so I'm happy with this doing 5MHz at 500uW average per inverter (850uW peak).
On the other hand, it gets wierd when unterminated and that affects the output of the gate before. If you disconnect the last inverter, red rises slower.
Haven't tested the fan-out.
