10 years ago, I took a YouTube video I found on making a password protected door in Minecraft and did my best to convert it to digital logic. After 10 years I decided to upload an ‘improved’, reprogrammable (but still simple) version. An XNOR gate can be used to check equivalence between two bits. When these two bits share the same value, the XNOR will output a 1. If they are different, XNOR will report a 0. When coupled with AND gates, a simple binary lock can be created. Terms can be added with relative ease, and to get the total number of combinations you can use the equation 2^n where n is the number of terms.
