Let the circuit charge for a minute. Switch off the Switch to get high voltage damped AC Voltage. Marx Generators utilize electric arcs instead of those mofets. 
After charging, switching off the capacitors puts the capacitor in series so that the voltage we get is very high. During charging, the capacitors are in parallel.
