Value of 47R defines ON time. Value of 1M defines OFF time.

An everlasting flasher, this is good. I`ve build something like this on my breadboard and it can flash with very low batteries too.

Useful circuit although I never like to see 28.4mA surging through LED's.

Easy enough to reduce it to 20mA.

Yep, increase the 100Ω LED resistor to 145Ω and then introduce noise (shake your device) into your circuit to begin the flashing sequence.

Or you could leave circuit as it is since it starts without shaking and 30mA current pulse is very short and is not likely to cause harm. The choice is yours folks!

Thanks to your help I have designed this. It is now a physical working board. Hopefully the infrared light requires the same amount of milliamps
