Frequency modulator achieved by passing AM wave through a variable frequency oscillator.
I posted a couple of months ago a variable frequency oscillator that is controlled by the output voltage of the oscillator itself, So I used that circuit to construct this one.
The idea here is the output voltage here is Amplitude modulated by a message signal and applied to the input of the mosfets, such that a varying gate voltage is applied to each MOSFET at each cycle, here the varying signal is an AM wave containing the message signal so the frequency of the output voltage varies according to the message signal.

This appears to be pulse width modulation. Its similar to FM but not the same thing i think. Anyway, nice circuit!

@Matus where can I check out your version. @zorgrian no its not PWM ,the duty cycle is 50% at all times, check it out.
