Rounded Square Wave From Three Sine Waves

It’s amazing what you can accomplish with just a couple of harmonics.

Yes...interesting. A square wave (and any other continuous wave) is just a collection of sine waves. The most amazing thing is that any such wave can be disembelled in to its individual sine wave components (ref. Fourier)...If only we could get the starting flour back from a cooked cake like that !

Yes. I am familiar with Fourier series and how any periodic wave is just a combination of sine waves which are called harmonics except for the fundamental sine wave which has the same period as the wave that it’s reproducing.

If you wanna see the loch ness monster, change the values to 10kHz, 300kHz and 100kHz (bottom to top)

Haha. When it shows just the first half of the 10kHz wave it looks like the back of a giant monster.
