I used Infineon BCV62, and found that reverse polarity failed around 8V, which is due to a 6V rated emitter to base breakdown voltage which I added as a zener to simulation (SPICE does not account for parasitic elements, and it takes so much effort to work out what parasitic is causing a problem.)
